@babyrsmommy Same here! I started plan in early on so I didn't stress, I didn't even give anyone the opportunity to throw me one. I'm so picky!!

I planned my own baby shower because I wanted everything to be how I wanted it. When it comes to stuff like that I'm very picky about how I want things.

it's not tacky at all some people don't have the luxury of other people throwing them a shower you do what you want your the mama! if you want a registry you do it if you want elephants you get it ... lol kinda get where I'm going this is your first baby enjoy and don't care what others think!!!

thanks for the tips @bentleysmomma @drusky1993 ! I was bummed when no one from my ol' work family offered to throw a shower for me. I could throw my own baby shower but wouldn't it be tacky to include my baby registry?

Also for food (last comment lol sorry) get cracker trays, fruit trays, chips and dips, and like those potato/macaroni salads. And frozen hot wings! Everyone went crazy over just those lol instead of spending tons on actual food, everyone would rather snack when they please

Oh and get cheap decorations! I spent 60+ dollars on just a few things at Michaels and I regret it because no one even noticed them! I was mad lol

I'm doing mine and my only tip is don't spend too much !!!!!!!!!!!

If you have Facebook, create an event page. Way easier then sending out invitations in the mail 😂😂 do a diaper raffle! Everyone brings diapers when you do that. And also, we made trophies for the games instead of actually buying people gift cards etc. it's overwhelming but it's all worth it, mine was a blast!
