The hospital is nice as well. Nice large rooms. It's like a mini suite 😛 @xtianaaax it's 15-20 minutes from where I live sometimes 30 depending on traffic but so worth it

Robert wood Johnson in New Brunswick. To be honest I LOVE this hospital! I had cancer when I was 8yrs old so I was in the children hospital side and I loveddddd it. I'm now grown and for the first time in seeing the L&D side and the staff is amazing!! They're so caring and just simply amazing. I get control over in a different building but still part of RWJ hospital it would be on Paterson street and those people obgyn doctors and staff are amazing too! @xtianaaax

The protein in my urine wasn't high enough to cause preeclampsia but it was still high so they went ahead and induced me so I wouldn't get it. I wasn't dilated at all when I came into the hospital so with you being at 2 already yours shouldn't take as long as mine did. @kamilasmama

We are on the same boat! I did the 24hr thing and ofc I had protein. So I have preeclampsia and diabetes. So I have a feeling no matter what I'll be induce. But damn Monday all through Thursday. It's my first night at the hospital tonight. But j haven't started anything that you named just the shots for her lungs and getting the sugar shots which idk how they are called. But they did check if I dilated and I was at 2. Soo yeah thank you!! @britt16

If you do get induced it can take days but everyone is different. I came to the hospital last Sunday and they kept me that night to do a 24 hr urine collection because I had high protein in mine so I did that from Sunday 10pm to Monday 10pm. When they tested it after the 24hrs it still showed protein so they kept me and gave me cervidal, their every 12 hours and I had two one those and then they gave me a pill and those are every 4 hours and I had three of those to try and get things Rollin faster. So my induction started Monday night and went on until Thursday morning when I had her.

I had high bp for half of my pregnancy but it was regulated through meds. Towards week 38 my Bp rose and was put on bed rest with absolutely no salt intake. And was instructed to go to the hospital if my bp reached ??/100 (sorry I can't remember what my dr advised for the top number) because I had to monitor it at home. And we had scheduled me to get induced the day before my due date because my dr did not want me going past 40 weeks. However my bp rose 3 days before and as I was getting ready to go to the hospital because it passed what my dr was comfortable with my water broke and I ended up having my daughter the next day. I let my nurses know though about my bp issues when admitted and they kept a close eye on me! But besides both me and my daughter having slight fevers because of how Long my water had been broken we had a safe delivery!!
