Honestly I think it totally depends on the relationship and the people in it. Some relationships may not work with taking a break, but others may benefit from it. If you think that's something that could help you out in the long run then there's no shame in giving it a try!

I personally never did it but I think taking breaks makes relationships better. at 1 point I did want to take a break from my relationship. if you feel like your losing yourself then there's a nothing wrong with some you time
