So time to rant. I have never been so disgusted with how a job treats an almost 8 1/2 month pregnant woman. I worked 12am-8am into today. Came home took a "power nap" and have to report back to work by 4pm just to stay until 8am tomorrow morning. And this was all done KNOWING I have my baby shower at 11am tomorrow. I swear to god I'm NEVER going to catch a break 😩😔
You guys should talk to your HR. Since I'm part of management I have to open 2 days and close 2 days of the week, but when I close I usually don't get home until midnight or 1am. My HR director said she was fine accommodating to my needs for these last 2 months working. And usually a job won't offer help or accommodate anything for you unless you ask.
It's crazy how they don't respect how hard it is to work being pregnant. And in direct care in mental health so it's stressful.
I feel for you 🙁 my job keeps putting me on 5pm-2am and then 11am-11pm back to back with two days off if I'm lucky. It's getting way too hard 😞
I got home at 8am this morning and don't have to be back till 4pm so that's a shift in between but it's just wrong being so close to my due date to push me like this
Seriously?? Awee hun that sucks, I thought the laws state that you have to have at least 8 hours in between shifts, thats how it is down here at least :/
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Glucose test tomorrow morning at 8am! So excited hope everything is still okay, I passed my early one so hopefully I pass this one too.
My job told me there was no accommodation or "light duty" work. I got a note 2 months ago saying I am not to work more than 8 hours a day and they ignored it
