I'd call your doc to make sure but I think it'll be fine.

@autumnsmomma125, that's crazy lol my doctor made me feel like it should come in like an hour or two so I just started freaking out because it hasn't came off yet.

Yeah he said that's how long it would stay. I'm not sure why. But it eventually came off and his area is fine and looks great after healing.

@autumnsmomma125, 7 to 10 days!? did the doctor say it was normal?? I'ma try giving him a bath and see if that does it.

It didn't fall off my nephew for 7-10 days and do not take it off yourself it could mess it up leaving scarring

@rhia, that's what he said to use was Vaseline or Neosporin, we have Neosporin so that's what we're going to use.

yes it lasted 24 hours plus longer But as soon as it got wet in the bath it came off. Once its off just keep putting lots of Vaseline on it so the diaper dosent stick to it. It will heal in a few days to a week

okay so yours lasted on for 24 hours? now I'm not so worried. @rhia but thank you both! @abeals04 I just wasn't 100% sure and didn't wanna call the doctor and sound stupid lol

It was just a piece of gauze with Vaseline on it you can take it off and you just keep changing it every time you change his diaper

I waited the 24 hours and gave him a bath and it came right off in the water

@rhia, I didn't know I could.. the doctor said wait at least 24 hours and now I was just waiting for it to come off.

have you tried giving him a bath? thats when my sons came off .

@marieterrell92, that's why I haven't yet my husband keeps saying we can just take it off but I don't wanna hurt him or cause something to go wrong 😅

call the Dr. if u try to do it urself it could hurt him.
