when does the doctor check to see when your baby is head down? and how do they check?

I got checked at 35 weeks via sonogram .. But they can just touch & feel your stomach to tell if the baby is head down or whatever

Is yours head down yet @marissamiller ? I'm 33 weeks Monday and she hasn't moved yet. I'm getting nervous

Yes he's been head down since 35 weeks & still is at 39 .. She still has plenty of time they can always move from being head down also @baileysmommy726

Yes I'm very excited but I'm becoming impatient too as the days keep getting lower . I feel ill go over my due date though @baileysmommy726

My midwife feels on my belly every appointment and confirms my baby is still head down, but she's been that way the entire time. Yesterday she told me there's always a chance she can move, but if they've been head-down for a while, they'll probably stay like that.
