When did your doctor checked to see if baby was head down and when did they start checking your cervix?

Ya mines in a dr office too but I was surprised when she never checked to see if I was dilated or anything. Then I was told most midwives are like that. I'm sure she would check if I asked. So if you wanna be checked around 36 weeks I would ask your midwife to do it. Cause I'm due in 3 days and I have no idea where I stand as dad as dilation!!

Oh okay. technically I have a midwife but of course she works in a doctors office. she don't give ultrasounds often. like I honestly only had about 3 ultrasounds that came from her. first one was to see baby see how he was growing etc..second one was because she didn't have anything planned for me so she did that & the last one I told her my funny dream about baby not having lims so she gave one. I don't know I have many questions for he come the 23rd..

She feels my belly and says she can tell he's head down. He has been since 28 weeks. Midwives do things differently than doctors I guess😕

I've been seeing a midwife since 36 weeks and she hasn't checked me at all😣I'll be 40 weeks on Tuesday.

okay. thanks ladies. @a_renee9 @mommyzay @firstbaby_girl.. when I went to l&d the other day he was head down. Lol. doubt he stays that way. it just amazed me that he was already.

I went to my specialist at 32 weeks and ended up finding out she was head down. and about 36 weeks for dilation
