I was in a ward with people who had interventions.. forceps, suction cup, c section etc. one of the girls that had a c section had made up and brought ice pads. Obviously she didn't need them so she gave them to me and others on the ward. After being cut and forceps.. this was like heaven. I think it's like aloe Vera and lavender oil on a sanitary pad, frozen in the freezer. Maby check that online to be sure. But honestly these felt like a god send when your all swollen and sore downstairs. Mite be worth looking into ☺ xx

Hey, @kirsty1989 I should have mentioned this is for research at a future business prospective 😜 and wanted some real feedback from real ladies! As has my boy two years ago and I remember I had way to much stuff and wish I had other stuff as well but can't for the life of me remember :) xxx

Yeah why not! Go for it! You could always try selling online aswell and do it a bit cheaper than others till you get up and running :) wish you the best and remember keep all us ladies informed 😅😊 xxx

If it's for research and you are planning to make ready made packs for taking to hospital then maybe a *portable phone charger, one of those *cool/freeze sprays or a little *fans that also spray water (I was so hot when in labour) *disposable knickers were handy when I was in hospital as I stayed in for three days after birth and I didn't pack enough knickers, travel sized toiletries, brush, toothbrush, hair band, disposable camera, bed slippers or non slip socks 😁 hope that helps

Ooh I'm definitely taking flip flops this time round, somethings the shower floors aren't clean as well as no risk of verrucas 😊

To be honest I never actually used anything in my hospital bag! Apart from the nappies and clothes for my daughter :) Oh wait..I used a nightie once I changed out of the hospital gown :) I was in 4 days :) Xx

I had a shower in the hospital and used my own towel :)

@sweetsesame, yea so am I. Love my flip flops they where like the swimming bath changing rooms hate going barefoot in there 😂🙈 xx

@winterbaby95, can't beat your own towel plus there towels are white!! I might be only person like this but I made sure I had either a black or red towel... It's like come on your bleeding heavily and they give you white? Just seems crazy to me 😂 xx

@beadyeyes93 They gave me white towels 😂😂 I thought the same! Haha! I was more comfortable using my own :) They provided me with maternity pads even though I had my own. Preferred there's :) Hmm well the hospital food was nice :) So I didn't bother too much about snacks :) I didn't eat anything for about 2 days after birth 😯 I tried toast but instantly felt nauseous with one bite so left it :) I wished I packed more bottled water...I drank all the bottled water I had basically during labour and after I had given birth :) My mum bought me some more though :) xx
