Ladies I need honest. Let's say my baby is 8 pounds. What's the probability of me ripping during labor?

My baby was 7 13 and I had a first degree tear, so more than likely you could. But from what I understand if you start putting a little coconut oil down there it's less likely.

My son was 8.3 and I was going to rip or started to and my doctor just went ahead and cut me. It's normal to rip.

Actually they say tearing heals easier. While you're pushing they can massage the area to help it stretch and prevent major tears. I had a couple of tiny tears with my son (he was over 8 lb)

I ripped with my first and she was 7 lbs. Actually Dr cut me but it was better that way. They'll cut you if need be
