Are partners allowed to stay with you in the hospital after delivery? I'm really panicking because I…

It depends on the hospital but where I am there aloud in form 10 in the morning until 11 at night xx

I just hate the thought of being in overnight on my own 😩

@canteloupe24, I was the same, at my hospital birthing partners can come anytime in the morning after 7 and can stay til 10 at night x

my OH and mum stayed with me until late about 2 hours after my little on was born but because he was born at midnight they had to go as they couldn't come in the ward. my partner came back at 8am xx

they can't stay over night but th partner visiting hours are from early in the morning until quite late in the evening.

I had a side room and he still wasn't aloud to stay silly really xxx

My OH stayed with me all day and for 2nights so fingers crossed. xx

I went in at 7.50am and didn't have my son until 5.49am the following day he stayed with me up until 11pm that night then had to leave my ward was so busy there was no doctor free to sign us off to go home so had to stay over night and no partners where allowed that was 2012 I'm having my little girl at the same hospital and now they let partners stay the rules change all the time when you go for a visit of the hospital ask them if he can stay xx

My OH was allowed with me until 9pm but when my son was put in nicu for the night they rang my partner to come back and then he was allowed to stay with me in a private room every night until I went home cx

If you request a private room they'll let anyone stay with you xx

Does it cost to have a private room?

As far as I know most hospitals charge for a private room unless beds are full and you get given one. OH and I are thinking about it incase I have to stay in my 1st night. I don't want to be alone

my hospital in Manchester the partner visiting hours at 9am to 9pm they definitely aren't allowed to stay over we asked at our last visit 😭 xx
