icp is intraheptic cholestasis of pregnancy, yes. I'm well educated in cholestasis.

all I know about pupps is it's bright red itchy marks on the stomach predominantly effecting women carrying boys.

Your doctor will definitely take care and make sure it doesn't harm your baby. I honestly would not worry about it unless it comes back positive. I'm telling you I was out of my mind itchy, day and night, didn't sleep for weeks... my doctor was almost positive that I had it, just waiting on results... and I didn't even have it!

@babymay2016, yes I'm going to tomorrow even tho I won't lie I'm nervous now and I do want to avoid it but I need to know cuz I've heard it can harm baby as well 😔 I wouldn't want nothing to happen to my baby girl

mommalexx, ive been applying loads of lotions different kind to but this has been an on going thing for 2 weeks already. It's just weird that if everything would itch so would my belly but it starts from the bottom of my feet all the way up my legs then my palms and hands.

It is most likely nothing but definitely important to get checked. My doctor was even sure I had cholestasis because I was itchy on my entire body, going crazy basically and didn't sleep for weeks. But after checking my bile levels multiple times, it came back as nothing. Very important to check though! Don't just brush it off. Tell your OB as soon as you can.

I was itchy but it was just my skin stretching. So I would put some lotion on!

@Mylittleprincess, yes is it know as ICP or PUPPP?? I was at the store as well and the pharmacist saw me scratching the bottom of my foot and then the palm of my hands and I just kept scratching my legs, that's when she told me I could have ICP or PUPPP and not to take it as a joke i got worried but got over it and now I've started the itching all over I might just call and let them know cuz this is too much

could be cholestasis. have them check your bile acids and lfts

Oh I'm not sure but I've noticed a lot of women on here in their 3rd trimester thats had it I also had it but it went away ask your doctor @mommy431
