Well today was pretty eventful. Started off good and thought I was gonna have a normal Dr's appointment but during my ultrasound the tech was quiet and didn't say much, so I was wondering what was up, so we see the doctor and she immediately sends me to L&D bc the baby's fluid around her is low. My ob came to the hospital, talked to me and said if my fluid gets to 4 or under, she's inducing me next week, if the next ultrasound isnt any different. Well,I ended up getting fluid through an iv to help. Well, I ended up contracting for an 1 hour & 1/2 before they got to me. The doctor come in, she checked me, and my cervix is still closed but it could change at any moment. She thinks I've been leaking fluid, but haven't noticed it. She didn't sound too concerned but we didn't stop contractions. After the fluid, they slowed down but haven't stopped. I was saying all day that I didn't wanna have her just yet bc we haven't had the babyshower but secretly I was hoping to bring my 7pound princess into the world this weekend. I guess I'm gonna do a ton of walking or something to get her out. She's healthy and there aren't any complications with her in any way which was probably the best news id gotten all day today. Prayers for me and baby are greatly appreciated right now. And Tristan too, bc be was scared to death earlier to the point of almost crying. Broke my heart. He's a good support when it comes to his baby. She does good under stress of strong contractions. She's a trooper that's for sure. I'm just glad that nothing was wrong and we can only hope within the next week we will be welcoming our little girl into the family!!!

the BEST way to get things going is to have sex. I know it sounds crazy but the doctor at the hospital told me thats the best thing she recommends to get the process moving

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
