Today at the doctors we found out Andrew still has a heart murmur which let's us know that he still has a hole in his heart. We will be seeing a cardiologist to see if he will be needing surgery or not. As his mother this scares me to death. The thought of my little boy going into surgery and him not being able to understand scares the hell out of me. Please keep Andrew in your prayers. He has 4 months before his 1st birthday if it's not closed by then surgery is a must.

my husband had to have surgery to fix a murmur when he was a baby. it scared me to think that my baby could have one. I'm pretty sure that God got tired of my prayin that he wouldn't have one because he came early and totally fine. but this time I will go to god for you and your family. I hope and pray that everything goes well.

@mommys.girl, last time they checked it was small but it was causing extra pressure in his veins. The doctor said that the fact that the murmur was still there let's us know that the hole has not gotten any bigger or any smaller. Which is a good thing because at least we know it's not getting worse and staying stable. She is worried about the extra pressure pushing through his veins though she said it was extremely high.

@lilmommy93, we didn't even find out till he was 2 months! None of us have any heart problems and we only found out because he kept throwing up and his lips would turn purple when he would choke. We would've never known if we would've never took him. I think all babies should be checked at birth and should not wait until and actual problem occurs.
