Hey ladies, right I've ordered my pushchair yesterday (Icandy peach3 ) however I haven't yet ordered…

Is the seat unit from birth? There are car seats you can buy which lift on the bottom so baby is flat. They can stay in them upto 8hours unlike the standard maximum of 2 hours in a normal car seat. Xx

A baby shouldn't stay in a car seat for longer then 1/2 hours so I would get a carry cot xx

The seat unit isn't from birth but I've been reading up and most babies outgrow the carrycot within 6-8 weeks, yeah that's what I'm thinking @jodieiokie xx

They're not cheap for such short use... Although I doubt baby will outgrow it that fast... They're not meant to sit in a seat like this until 6 months as they're spines aren't strong enough to support them. I would honestly say to get the carrycot too if you have the money spare... If not, go for the more versatile car seat xx

@harleighmx My daughter is still in her carry cot and she is 4 months :) But her carry cot converts into the seat for when she is 6 months+ or whenever she starts sitting up on her own :) she is nearly there xx

I just have to flip it up and do a few adjustments and it will turn into the 6+ month seat and should last her until she is 3 years old xx

I think carrycots are really important. my son stayed in his until he was 5 months. he had plenty of room but could sit up and pull himself up so I put him in the main seat. my daughter is 5 months next week, has plenty of room in her carrycot. i sat her in the main pram seat that my son normally sits in (I have a double ) and she looked ridiculous 😂

I had this pram with my son and he hated the carry cot I mean what a complete waste of money it was 😩 he was colic so couldn't lay flat although I've heard you can now buy wedges to go in them if they hate them xx
