Just a quick question will they do a sweep after you're 40 weeks and not before?

I was wondering the same thing. I see my midwife next Thursday and I'll be 40 weeks 🙈 hopefully I can get one as I think I have a stubborn little man 😂 xx

@zoeelaw, I've had two more since then and they haven't worked for me but I'm being induced Saturday morning and the midwife said if my cervix is still far back at that point they will need to pull it forward before they put the gel in which sounds horrific because I couldn't handle the sweep because of how painful it was to me

I had one at 40+4 and I'm 41 now and I'm being induced Monday if no baby xxx

Okay I'm due to see the midwife next week so I'll be 39 + 3 then I'll see her after that at 40 + 3 if I haven't had him @winterbaby95 So probably be at 40 + 3 if nothing has happened before then xx

I had my first at 39+1 weeks but I'm now 41+4 weeks and my cervix hasn't progressed since my first one X still posterior

I had one before :) At 39+1 :) because my waters had gone the previous day :) They did it to help speed things up :) Hmm but generally they dont do it until you are over due xx
