My newborn just developed awful diaper rash & what looks like bruising above it. Help

The pattern on his skin is from a towel. I have him nude letting air get on the rash.

Bordeaux Butt Paste was our best friend until I found out my son was allergic to pampers brand and switched

how long has he had the bruise because jj has a Mongolian birth mark on his butt that is blue like that

Jj really dosent get rashes but if I see a little redness I use desitin after a bath. do you know what could have caused a bruise ?

the birthmark can develop over the first few weeks and if it is a bruise it should go away if not get it checked. .just keep an eye on it and see if it's changing if it gets darker I'd go to the doctors but it could be a birthmark

@jjsmommyjj711, nothing could have caused a bruise that's the thing. He has a doctors appointment next week

keep an eye on it if it gets darker over the weekend go to the er and get him checked out but I think it's just a birthmark if it's a regular bruise it will go away slowly
