Help!! My baby has been constipated for two days now and our doc appt isn't until Saturday! Anything I can do at home??…

is your baby formula fed or breast fed?

Put a little bit of prune or apple juice in his milk. Massage his belly and move his legs in a bicycle motion to help him.

it could be the formula he is drinking that is causing it..maybe try switching?

Yes my sons pediatrician said he could and he was around 6 weeks. Just don't put too much a tablespoon the most. It does wonders

eat a ton of fruits and drink lots of water. lay off any dairy you may be eating. Nursing him should move things along.

yeah too much diary could definitely be the culprit..i would definitely try to stick to high fiber as much as possible :)

if that does not work in a couple days, try some gripe water...keep it 100% natural. not the kind you get all Walmart and target

@katiek710, how long before did your baby poo after apple juice. It's been about an hour & still nothing :(

If your baby is really constipated it's not gonna happen within an hour. Give him a little time and make sure your doing the bicycle motion with his legs it'll help him
