how soon does birth control pills work? tmi but I had unprotected sex 8 weeks postpartum and used the pull out method as well as birth control pills but I was only taking the birth control pills for 2 weeks before that, kinda stressing out now because I'm starting to feel bloated but my period is supposed to come next week

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Takes up to 3 months for the full effectiveness. My doctor always told me you have to take 3 full packets for it to be effective
