When can you start introducing baby food to your baby? He's 4 months and I'm just wondering.

My son is 4 months and I JUST introduced sweet potatoes. But I don't give it everyday just 1-2 times a week max. I'm waiting till 6 months to really start.

6 months, introducing early COULD (notice I said could I'm not trying to offend anyone who introduced food early) cause digestive problems now, or way into the future.

@swsnsn, I'd say start right now on stage 1 little by little it won't hurt him .....from an ordinary mommy :)

When they sit up by themselves. Around 5-7 months since some advance faster than others. But also talk to your pediatrician.
