so with the weird signs that labor will be near I hope that baby boy will show up before Tuesday morning so I don't have to be induced. but I was 3cm at 36 weeks. continued horrible heartburn until 38 weeks. 1 week ago. now I don't have it at all. (normally means baby dropped) constant diarrhea for about two weeks. starting to get painful contractions but not to severe and not closer together. not to mention the lightening crotch is something real... grr... I'm hoping this is a real good sign that he is getting ready. I really don't wanna be induced.. I wanna know how it feels to go all on my own (: doctors appointment in the morning! hopefully I've progressed and they decide to keep me

@mccokel14, yeah. I've done walking, bouncing on the ball, evening primrose oil. Haven't really done sex.

@ang20, that sucks badly... I haven't tried much other than walking and bouncing on yoga ball. can't have sex and don't feel like trying castor oil lol.. I was 1 cm from 22 weeks until 36 then moved up 1.5 then within a week moved to 3cm. so it had me on edge thinking I was gonna progress well and nothing has happened as far as my appointment last week went. hopefully they tell me good news tomorrow. im gonna ask for a sweep but I doubt it works

@mccokel14, my first to. I wanted to have her naturally. I've tried almost everything to help move it along. I'm only 1cm dilated an 80% effaced

@ang20, I know. I'm so nervous about being induced. this is my first and only child and I wanted it to be as natural as possible.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile…

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
