When you say your baby is having trouble nursing and you tell WIC and you say you would like formula instead of saying try this way or do this, and not give you formula and tell you they will call in a couple days to see if anything changed.

they certainly shouldn't pressure you into it. I formula fed but they didn't say anything like that to me that I can remember.

They say it because they are trained to. My grandma is a lactation specialist at wic, and once they here trouble or trying, they have to tell you to try a bit more, give u tips, before they give u formula. You are more than welcome to go back, and say you are done, and want formula, but just be stearn. They will issue new checks afterwards

Say you want formula only, and you wont breastfeed so they dont give you half the amount of formula
