Has anybody else's dog changed for the bad once they got pregnant ? Before I was pregnant, he was calm... Loved everyone and never tried to jump or play bite. But ever since then he likes to jump on people, knip at them, growl at them.. It's like he's protecting me. He never actually bites people, but he acts like he wants to sometimes. Does he know something is up ? I'm gonna get him training before baby comes.. I just don't want him acting up when remi gets here. He will be a year old next month..

he knows about the baby he just wants attention mine was the same way but after they go back to being calm and they think the baby is there it's like they get excited just like people that another addition is getting add to the family

He's just being protective .. My boxer won't let anyone in my bedroom or near me .. He's not mean he just puts distance between everyone except for my kids they can come near me .. I asked my vet he said they completly know and aren't sure what's to come but they know they have to protect u they don't know why ..

My dog started acting up and started peeing every where. We had to give him to my mother in law until baby is here

Dogs can sense your pregnancy. They can legit smell it. It's our hormones that give off a different smell to them so they know. I had 3 dogs while living with my mom and they were always good. I think my golden became more attached to me being pregnant.

Omg!! She does the same with me... Usually she loves to be around people and I don't have to yell at her for destroying things.. But lately i swear her name is in my mouth more often than it should, it's harder for me to grab the things she destroys, she is a chi so of course it's always small things.. Omg I wanted to ship her off to my moms house the other day.

It's normal. My dog went from a spawn of satan to protective and a little angel. I'm pretty sure he knew I was pregnant before I did.

@newmommy_2016, definitely don't sell him, he will eventually go back to normal. He is just giving you a slight taste of what a kid can possibly be like.. Lol that's how I see it.. Good luck and if you do the training classes with him let me know how they go, I might do it for mine too.

@newmommy_2016, he will bounce back after the baby gets here and ur hormones get back on track but then he will protect the baby... I went through this now with two dogs .. It's crazy .. They are so human like
