It really bothers me how some of my "friends" will text me, saying they can't wait to meet my baby.…

No. I got so many promises of ppl saying they were coming to the baby shower and nobody showed. Except for 1 friend. Ppl are just so fake now.

My friends are the same exact way!

@celenarenee, the exact same thing happened to me. Out of all the people I invited, only one person showed up...and it was my SO's friends wife. I've been blown off multiple times by these so called friends this pregnancy.

i had one friend tell she doesn't talk to me like she used to because I am pregnant I cant relate anymore. so she has nothing to talk to me about. shes also the same one calling herself god mommy etc... funny thing is shes pregnant now.. & she comes to me with questions

@mommyrai, that's so frustrating😑. Doesn't sound like she even tried.

@lumbeemama, yea I've gotten calls of ppl saying they were bringing stuff to my house and asked if I'll be home. I'm always home and nobody never showed and I'm not about to beg or bug anybody to come see me

she didn't & i asked her why she doesn't & thats what she told me. hurt my feelings but its cool.. ill be the bigger person

@celenarenee, yeah I've heard that too. I mean I know other people have their own lives, but don't say you're gonna be there for us and then just ghost out.

@belly1996, not everybody will do that. I mean I feel like if anybody really cared they would show it. All relationships take effort. I've had the and friends since middle school and now we're all 22 or 23 years old. Ppl change I just can't deal with the fakeness

@lumbeemama, yes that's exactly what I'm saying. Like we all have kids now and jobs and stuff but it's no reason to lie. If your gonna do something just do it

Exactly @celenarenee it's like they may have good intentions, but if it's not gonna work just tell us. My friends will straight not answer calls or texts after making plans to come see me or hang out.

Same here. Even my mom has been trying to dictate how we raise our child but I've had to beg her to talk to me all throughout my pregnancy.
