Mamas that got their breast pump through wic.. How long did it take for your pumps to come in?
Oh yeah I am too lol the nerves still haven't gone away
@rockysmommy, definitely... Yeah I know, I just wanted to use mine so I knew how it worked and if I was doing it correctly. I'm a FTM lol u know the nerves that come with that title.
I think so. Since they usually want preemies on breastmilk because they need the antibodies more they get the pump fast plus the hospital lets you use theirs while you're in the hospital.
@rockysmommy, ohh ok, I guess it depends on the necessity of the pump.
@arivera64, I am. Well I'm going to try lol.. I want to see if I could exclusively breastfeed since I heard it was better for the baby.
I had a preemie so the lactation nurse called and got mine in that same day
Some pple do get it before, that was just my personal experience. If you're not exclusively pumping, you wont need to use a pump anyway for a few weeks until your milk supply is properly established
@arivera64, oh ok, I thought I would be able to get it before I gave birth. Didn't want to use one from the hospital but hey! If that's how it has to be. Then it's ok.
@alana_sunshine, as long as your insurance covers it, they mail you one.
@alana_sunshine, Well it goes through your insurance but they take care of putting the order in for you, all they need is a prescription from your dr and your insurance info.
pumping is a tough job -____- hope linn g do you mommies pump for? ??
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Government Assistance and Breast Pump
Is there any mommy's on here that used to be or is on Government Assistance? And knows if they cover breast pumps?

My stash!! I'm super pumped
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
😩😩😩 @rockysmommy
