Has anyone ever tested positive for group B strep?? Just found out today that I did

yep, it's a normal bacteria that some women have and others don't. no way to prevent it and it doesn't do you any harm. it can harm the baby though, so the doctor will push antibiotics while you're in labor. I'm a lab tech and work with this bacteria

Yes I am positive with this pregnancy but wasn't with my first one. 😐

I was positive with my first baby and I get tested next week so I'll more than likely test positive again. They give you antibiotics in your IV during labor.. no biggie :)

Yup tested positive this one... You will just get IV antibiotics during labor
