any update on the zika virus?? any new location or are they getting anywhere with a vaccine??

@vicky810 they need to come up with a vaccine, granted a pregnant woman I'm sure can't get it atm, but hey at least next pregnancy we'd all be okay. If people would quit traveling to those places until it's settled we wouldn't hav this issue😧😧I'm sure I'm wrong but wishful thinking I guess lol

@vicky810 that's just crazy, and yes its always mosquitoe weather here unless it's that short winter we get lol... I haven't seen many but I very rarely go anywhere, I only get attacked when at his grandmas. 😩 I can't breast feed so I guess that is one plus that comes out of it. I guess I need to find infant bug spray

and if your gonna breastfeed u have to use the same precautions @hermommy

It's a VERY SEROUS affect it has on the baby , but it's not all over yet

wait a second I'm suppose to wear pants and Long sleeves in Alabama in the summer? I can do the bug spray and long sleeves but if my legs are covered and I get hot I'll get sick😩 I'll just stay inside for the 1 1/2 month I have left

the way they are talking it's very serious .. they said to where jeans, long sleeves, and bug spray. have the air conditioning running cold at all times .... @hermommy

@hermommy, mosquito repellent is pretty much all u can do

@fifimama mosquitoe repellent works well for that right? or is it like more serious than that? I've already been attacked alot😩 I guess I'm just trying to figure out how on earth to prevent it

@hermommy, there's very few cases in the us RIGHT NOW , but still be careful

O lord.... so in the dead of summer we will have to wear bug spray and long sleeves jeans and hats

@fifimama omg that's crazy, so it isn't here yet right? I'm not understanding why they have no vaccine yet, supposedly there are people that are immune to it becauae they grew up with it, why not do that here

Just in Honduras and El Salvador cause there babies are almost all being born with the virus the most they can live up to is about 5 years I think my mother in law said @hermommy

All I know is in Honduras and El Salvador they asked the women to wait 2 years before having babies hoping the disease will die down
