I know i had the same thing going on i was so mad at myself for not being able to help her latch on, & i did buy the nipple shield today! Worked miracles lol thank god! 😁🙏🏻 @lilmommy93
Parker refused to latch the day that my milk came in and I sat on my bed holding him up to my breast and had a major melt down. at one point I got so angry with myself for not being able to do it that I had my mom take him and I had to leave the room for a minute. when I came back she had a nipple shield for me and we did way better. sometimes you just need a minute of quiet to remind yourself that you're a strong momma and you've got this.
That's great @fannypradoo. Maybe a nipple shield would also help for future "problems". It's only a couple of bucks, won't hurt to get one if u don't have one already
Thank you mommys! Im a first time mommy and it does get upsetting that she cant latch.. Im all about breastfeeding but i just wanted a formula so she could at least feed off something, i saw a lactation consultant today & she really helped out. @leiibaaaby @goodbyelullabye @surpriseme @suddymaya @bri28 @jaaym_
I went to the lactation specialist 6 times and I was so ready to give up by the second week but here I am at 2 months and still breastfeeding her. I do give her formula at times though. It's all your choice, don't let anyone else pressure you if you don't want to do it.
Try hand expression. Get milk and give it to her in a bottle. Similac is a good choice in formula, but it all depends on baby! Breast is best, but do whats best for you and baby!
