Nipple stimulation can trigger contractions, so that's why people don't recommend it before you've delivered (unless you're still feeding an older child).

I know (: I was approved to do so because I was engorged and my lactation consultant didn't want me to get mastitis before little one came . I only pumped for 5 or so minutes on each side. Also, since my fiancé and I still have "grown up time " and I receive nipple stimulation from that with no result she told me I should be fine . Thank you though !(:

@becca2mommy, oh, ok. Lol pumping stimulation usually lasts longer than "fun time" stimulation does anyway. Hope the boobs are all good now!
