I don't think anyone has ever loved someone as much as I love my sweet Mr Perfect (although I know all you mommy's feel this way lol). We have been through so much in his first 10 days. we went for another weigh in today and baby gained back 14 oz in 5 days!! they said we can chill out on trying to get him to eat a ton now lol. sadly, today I made the choice to stop trying to get baby to latch. I am spending much of the day sobbing because nothing is working even though we have litterally tried everything. I just need to have time to grieve this loss and move on. luckily I am able to pump a tiny bit and someone close to us donated a bunch of milk too. I just never imagined not being able to do the one thing I have always wanted for my baby.

yes they did, just like with breastfeeding, but they got better, you can still use nipple cream

this may help you pump more, don't look at it as a loss, if you are still able to give baby even a little breast milk you are doing great
