It's gotten on a onesie, and a night gown. I soaked them in oxi clean, and scrubbed the blood out. I put a gauze pad over it for now, because we're heading to the airport and I don't just want her in a diaper.

It bleeds very little, no matter how far down I fold her diapers they still manage to press up against her belly button. It's loose in the belly button hike because it rotates so I'm pretty sure hers is about to fall off as well.

Hers bleeds only a little too, I'll see blood on her diaper, as I fold them down too, to avoid excess pressure on the belly button. I did, she came before her due date. Fine by me I was way to uncomfortable being that pregnant!

@paigey32, She's so cute! My baby's umbilical cord is starting to fall off, I believe, because it's starting to bleed a bit. She's a week and three days.

my baby has the same thing right now only his cord fell off. I was terrified when we were doing skin to skin and I looked down and there was blood on my tummy and his :(

It's okay, the alcohol will clean it up and the gauze will keep it looking better so no more snagging. It'll get better

It could be cause they're worried about it getting infected because it's tearing away. Definitely put the gauze on it that way it doesn't keep snagging. And don't cry it's okay baby probably doesn't notice it happeningn
