its not as bad as you think. they suggest not lifting anything heavier than baby. but the only supet painful moments is when you sneeze or cough, really. itll stop after 2 weeks maximum. you just have to keep in mind youll be going through major surgery. but as @karnamarie in 2 weeks after your procedure youll be up doing day to day activities.the more youre up and doing things, the faster youll recover from pain. just use your meds accordingly.

Sound like you had a quick recovery @karnamarie and wow well I'm not so worried about the procedure because I have heard that you don't feel anything what I'm worried about is recovering @xbbycolletto and the pain you feel after

i had a c section 2 months ago. it was a breeze. youre in and out in 15 minutes if that. they numb you tripple with an epidural. BUT recovery isnt fun. i wont lie and say youll be up and moving as usual. but youll havr pain meds given to you, theyll suggest after 2 days that you try walkin aroind the hospital. prescribe you to pain meds after you leave, you gwt youe staples removed (if you get them depends on the ob performing thr c section) for me thr pain stopped a week after my c section. and i felt way way better after my staples were removed. ita a process to heal from. im still numb in my abdomen but othet than that. its nothing to be scared of, i promise! i was terrified. but they walked me throigh it as it was done. and my legit question was "you guys already cut me open??"

After about 2 weeks I could do day to day functions (getting up and down, walking a good bit, cleaning, cooking, driving) took about 6 to feel completely normal again
