Does anyone have experience with preterm labor? I've been dilated 2cm for at least 2 weeks. what are my chances of going full term with twins? (Also have a funneling cervix length)
yea that's a big thing I found out. ..I hate water so I rarely drank water and most of my pregnancy was in summer I was sent 3 times to the hospital for early contractions so yes plenty of water and rest is good. ..I hope everything comes out great for you. ...you'll do fine! !!
@ebonyreyes13 Since twin A is head down my doc said if I make it to 33 weeks I can try vag. I'm definitely going to try to hold them in as long as possible. staying hydrated and not over exhausting myself
yes they do work I thought the same thay they don't but I was wrong...I have known plenty of woman in my community with twins and triplets who have made it....o don't give up ....u can do it .....r u having a c section or vaginally birth @kisha
@ebonyreyes13 That's so awesome! Yes I would love to make it 36+ with zero Nicu! Thanks for that. yes I'm on the inserts so I'm glad to hear they actually work!
you can defentily go ull term except some doctors won't allow it since they say the placenta isn't giving enough nutrients ....I refused to let my docotr induce me b4 my due date .....I went to 36 weeks and 5 days when my water broke on its own ....I had very healthy babies thank god....no nicu time no tube no nothing ....u should let ur body do its thing.
.now if your 20 somthing weeks tell ur doctor to prescribe a vaginally cream that helps keep the cervix closed....I asked for it and that helps alot since the pressure of twins do make u open up b4 hand
@kejs0911 okay that's reassuring. The doc is acting like there's no way I can make it term
@kisha, I had mine at 35wks. I only had 1, though. He came out super healthy with no issues. I'd say the chances seem high. Are you taking any shots/meds to keep from going into labor? My cousin had to throughout her pregnancy. It helped keep baby in until she was 38-39wks.
thanks
