My son's dad doesn't want to touch 50/50 custody with a ten foot pole. Now he thinks he's leaving Idaho to Tennessee in the spring with his girlfriend that he's been dating maybe 6 months, and he thinks he's taking our son. We have kept the courts out of it but I think we're about to go through a rough custody battle... Any advice?

@ahoward577, I am sorry but take him to court if it means the world to you but make sure first that you can support him first because they tend to favor the best off parent ....

I make the most money, which he is always asking me for, when him and his girlfriend have two incomes combined. I just got my own place too. I work the hard jobs that make the money until I go back to school. He acts like everyone owes him something and it's starting to make me sick.
