@nicemmcha2015, see I'm gonna be hogging the heck out of my boy when he is born haha! I'm gonna try to give my husband his time with him but it is going to be so hard!

@kimberkatherine, I was so jealous of my husband with my 1st. he got to stay with her in the nursery and clean her up and give her her first bath and hold her all while I was stuck in a bed dealing with people. i tell him all the time that's why she likes him more now haha because he got time with her right after.. I didn't :(

@nicemmcha2015, yah screw them. I'd tell them exactly where they can shove it. You want that one on one time! It is so good for momma and baby and daddy too

@kimberkatherine, unfortunately we live in the same town as all of ours. even next door to his grandparents. and I agree but they see it as being selfish.. like.. I carried it for 39+ weeks... why shouldn't I at least get to be a little "selfish"? I didn't get that bonding time with my 1st. I was bombarded by visitors right as soon as she came out and they didn't bring her to me until about 2 or almost 3 hrs later because ppl wouldn't get out of my room and they didn't want anyone handling her but me and my husband. the birth was pretty rough on her and I both. I was so so angry. I don't want that this time.

They're pretty laid back @nicemmcha2015 my husband's family isn't so much..but they will have to fly out if they choose to come when I go into labor so it'll take them awhile anyway and my family is going to be around 6-7 hours away so I'll have time no matter what. I say it is up to the momma.

@kimberkatherine, hopefully your family is more understanding than mine!

@nicemmcha2015, totally agree..I don't want anyone around until me and my husband have had one on one time with our son and I've had a nap and a shower. I want to be at least semi put together before any visits.

@kimberkatherine, and it's even more irritating because no one is allowed to be there during labor and the first few hours after delivery until my daughter is brought to meet her sister. so people asking is pretty pointless because they aren't going to be notified until after the fact anyway.

I have been. @kimberkatherine like if that was happening and I wanted you to know I'd tell you if you haven't heard from me then either it's not happening or you're not important enough to get told. 😠 like I want to punch ppl in the face at this point.

@nicemmcha2015, ya, I feel ya girl. I have had tons of friends who say that is the most irritating part of being close to your due date. The constant inquiries. I'd be biting people's heads off.

@kimberkatherine, the fact they even ask will piss you off whether you reply or not. I don't reply but seeing the constant taunting question is like a slap in the face.

I know I'll have to deal with that when I'm further along..my plan is to ignore phone calls and texts and messages/social media. Unless they're from my immediate family and they have something else to talk about..im ignoring everyone!
