okay mommies, I'm feeding my twins and one of them didn't finish their bottle, I warmed two up. if I give him what she didn't finish does the bottle I warmed for him still need to be dumped? it is breast milk. I know if a baby starts a bottle it's only good for an hour, but good one is untouched just warmed up.

after breast milk is warmed it should be used within the hour. whether used or not after an hour should be thrown away due to bacteria growth that can happen.

They say throw it out because they haven't done enough testing yet. But that being said I have never had a problem with rewarmed or saved milk after a feeding. I always save anything she hasn't eaten for later. I've talked to my pedi an she said there isn't any problem with it. I test the milk by tasting it.
