They will also only give you a dose that is safe. Follow the gp advice. I used to take half the dose I was allowed due to fear of dependency but they will give you a low dose/mg if they do prescribe xx
Speak to your GP.. I was prescribed Codeine when I was pregnant with my son due to SPD and will be requesting some soon with this pregnancy as I am struggling to walk now.. You must have a low risk and no complications pregnancy though else they will most likely refuse.. Good luck xx
Nope just paracetamol is allowed. But me I wouldn't take any pain relief xx
Doctor and midwife suggested paracetamol to me. When I was taken in hospital for viral meningitis they gave me cocodamol, they said they can give things like that in hospital where you are being monitored etc x
I've only ever been given paracetamol throughout my pregnancy, and even my midwife said its the only thing you should take.
Not sure if you can unless it's prescribed Hun but it should say on label not to take it if pregnant x
yes, it's the only thing they can prescribe in pregnancy. Obv, don't go mad with it, and if you think you're taking too much go back to DR. Maybe inform your midwife just in case. xr
I personally wouldn't like to risk it. My doctor was reluctant to give advice towards paracetamol. Xx
doctor gave me it but am no sure because the baby can get dependent on it
Just paracetamol. And I still wouldn't take to much, ( just my personal opinion on that though.) xx
@emilydoll1, I was prescribed it few weeks back and baby rejected it I couldn't keep it down I would stick with paracetamol as it made me worse xx
