Totally need to vent... and please no judging... one of my friends made a comment about how my almost two year old still drinks milk (only milk) from a bottle. I told her that we are having a hard time because we brought the new baby home and he sees him with a bottle so he's been asking for one more often which I don't have a problem with. he doesn't fall asleep with it most nights. he usually drinks it while he is relaxing before bed. So it's not a big deal to me. she flat out told me we need to explain that he is a big boy and big boys use sippy cups. and his brother is a baby and bottles are for babies. like are you serious?! you think I haven't tried that?! why do people feel the need to put their two cents in where advice is not solicited? I am well aware of the fact that he is almost two and should be off the bottle but honestly right now me not being sleep deprived and him being happy and not feeling neglected is more important to me. ugh!! rant over 😊
@naomilynn21, yeah I have a friend who tries giving me parenting advice all the time. It used to upset me but now I've learned to let it go in one ear and right out the other. Lol
@yendor678 that's exactly how my son is also. he loves water from his sippy cups but would never drink milk from his sippy. it just bothers me because she's supposed to be one of my best friends. good for you!! don't worry about what other people say. as long as it works for you. 😊
I feel ya. My son will be two in July and still gets a milk bottle. He would never drink milk from a sippy cup. He drinks water all day long out of a sippy but at night he has a milk bottle. I don't even care anymore what people think. He's my son and I don't need their opinions. You continue to do what's best for your family!!
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I need some advice my babies father gets really mad when he drinks liquor. He woke me up and started a big argument about the thermostat he completely destroyed the room and choked me this is the 2nd time he has done this. I'm going to church today and I'm not sure of what to do when he starts calling and texting to talk to me because he realized he messed up. I need some advice and solutions to help the problem.

I now have a baby that won't drink from a bottle.....for now at least, 3 Walmart bags full of milk and I honestly wouldn't pump if I didn't have to. I wish I knew a mother in need near me, I remember the overwhelming stress of every drop.
How many bottles of water are we suppose to drink? They always say the baby has enough fluid but I don't think I drink enough
@yendor678 lol definitely going to have to start doing that if this "advice" keeps coming.
