You still burp. Either or they're still drinking so they need to get rid of any air

How old is your lo? I burp my baby after every feeding but sometimes he won't burp & that's completely normal. If he doesn't seem to burp after that long (20 mins) it's fine. If you're worried asked his pediatrician.

@mummm, he's 6 days old. I figure if it's not coming out the top end it's coming out the bottom cause he's constantly farting/pooping when he's done feeding

If he's having enough wet diapers & poop diapers he's fine. My LO does both, farts & burps. lol. Sometimes he won't burp though. Make sure you aren't patting his back too soft either because that's how I was at the beginning & he wouldn't burp until the nurse showed me how to "pat" his back. I was just scared because they are so small & fragile so I wouldn't really pat his back. But then I got the hang of it. lol. Good luck mama! @madibug96
