I talked all through my contractions sooo that isn't always the case. I know in my last few weeks my baby had her foot in my ribs so if I mad a weriod movement I would feel it and it felt horrible

It could be really bad gas. My doctor has told me pains and movement that are closer to or around the ribs could be really bad pain from gas. I hope it goes away, momma! But it could be contractions starting, I'd call L&D and ask. Because some women don't feel contractions so strongly that they can't speak until they're fully going into labor. When they first start out, the pain may not be as intense.
