Anyone had a baby at 34-36 weeks and was perfectly healthy?

My son was born 36 weeks 6 days and is healthy

He had jaundice and is bilirubin was high so he spent the day in the hospital when he was 5 days old, but that's it.

Did you get to go home at a normal time no extra stay for the baby? @jrsmommy312

Went home in 2 days but came back because of his bilirubin levels but it wasn't a big deal, they just wanted his levels to go down. We went back home the next morning

Some are lucky and are but that's a very small percent of the population.. Most have extra stay due to jaundice and incomplete lung development along with the inability to eat right and breast feed.. They also have a delayed nervous system development.. So don't try to do anything to induce your labor at this point. Let him or her cook she will come when she is ready I know that it is hard to wait but it's best for the baby

My son was born at 34 weeks. He did have to stay in the nicu for 6 days and 5 in the nursery because he wouldn't eat on his own fully and had to gain some weight but other than that he was healthy. he came home at 11 days old

I'm not trying to induce my labor. I'm just asking because I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I have a feeling she's gonna have me deliver her a bit early. @waylonsmommy252

yes 36.0 weeks and she didn't need nicu

my friend just had a c-section with her baby at 35 weeks and he is perfectly healthy. he's under 5 lbs so he is staying a few days extra but he's doing wonderful.
