Who had baby mittens on their baby for going home ? And , is it a necessity? Also what is the whole…

i only think its necessary if they have long nails so they dont scratch their face or stick their fingers in their mouth.

mittens are not necessary. you can just put socks on their hands if they do have long nails. Some women have a cute going home outfits for their babies because most of the time when your going home you get visited a all damn day unless you say other wise. A cute onesie and pants is just find or even a cute pj set.

I personally got the Fox one to come home in (tee shirt, pants, and hat) it has pjs as well but I will most likely put them on him right after his first bath.

Some women go over board on what to bring to the hospital but everyone is different and like to make sure they have everything that is theirs as if they are going on vacation or something. The hospital gives you a lot of things while your there to use. they give you a pack of new born diapers, wipes, they even have newborn clothing for your baby to wear while your there.

the Fox one and a few onesies and sleep sacks with the open bottom. and some socks. that's it. nothing over the top. new borns don't like to be messed with or they flip the hell out; lol

A couple shirts and pants. toothbrush w/ paste, comb, deodorant. Im low maintenance also I have short hair and I don't wash my hair everyday because it becomes greasy if I do. i wear the gowns they give you do wear and the mesh undies super comfortable (they are more expensive then Victoria secret undies too) when my friend had her 2nd son we asked why they only give you like three pairs and they told us they are like $30 a pair 😮

@tiffrae, nice sounds like you have it together I really appreciate your help , I stress a lot and just feel crazy when I don't have things in order . And , you really helped me put everything in perspective :)

this is my second pregnancy 6 years apart though. when I first started to prepare for the baby I forgot so much but little by little everything is starting to come back to me. I'm only 31 weeks and already know what I need and don't need to bring. Your very welcome my sister didn't know what to bring either and I packed her bags in one night and said ok your ready! The only thing I didn't pack in her bag was her SOs things.
