So are you not supposed to go anywhere after you have a baby?

wow i must be different lol, i go outside almost everyday the doc said just not to crowded places. so we just take walks he loves it and it makes me feel better. if i stay indoors with my newborn i think ill go insane

That's what I feel like as well! My daughter is doing just fine and I don't like being in the house for months or days on end either. Lol me and baby are fine so I thought it was suitable for me to go out! @nichole_lynn

and being in a house for months on end is not my thing. my sons doing great lol it didn't effect him, I also had him at the the lake at like 6 weeks old. but all mom's are different :) @kylamommy2016

I had my son out the day we left the hospital. judge me lol but having baby outside builds an immune system.

@kylamommy2016, well my mom always told me you may feel good now but wait for it later! Lol after i had my baby in those 40 days she wouldnt even let me bend down! Lol but i dont live with her Nymore so she only helped me when she could

This is true! I only take her out when I have too. Or if I have too, I'll leave her with her dad and I'll go do what I have to do. I thought my body was gonna need more rest than I gave it...but I feel fine. @mommasgirlxx

@kylamommy2016, exactly and with this bad weather theres alot of sick people🤒😷 i didnt want to risk it with my baby!! But you do what you think is right! Just remember your body went through a whole lot and you need to give it the rest it deserves!

@kylamommy2016, i know girl when you think about it it is a long time but it passed by so fast for me!! I didnt even notice and i stayed in longer then the 40 days due to the weather! Lol

In my culture they say its best to wait 40 days after baby so you rest heal and stuff by then baby is about to be 2 months and ready for shots. You just dont want baby to get sick or anything. Personally the only time i went out was for babys 1 week appointment then my postpartom app

Because of my baby being premature my doctor gave us orders to not take her out until she was 2 or 3 months old

i went out the first week cause i had to take my baby every week to the doctor but i had to walk because i had no car and i had a c section

I believe it's based on personal preference. I didn't go anywhere for almost a month other than a car ride. However, some people are single and have to take their baby with them everywhere. So, I would suggest using caution and avoid certain places but do what you need to do or if it can wait, let it wait. I hope this helps. @kylamommy2016
