So I keep having this clear discharge that has the consistency of slime or snot, are they parts of my mucus plug? I go to the doctor Tuesday and they are going to check his weight and all plus a cervical check, shots, and the group b test. I'm worried about it because my doctor doesn't want me going full term because she is afraid that he will be too bug and I will have trouble. She doesn't want me to have a c-section because it would cause me more harm than good in the long run. So I am worried she might induce me. What all happens when they induce you, like how is it done? If any mommas know or have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
Yea so annoying. lol. I'm sure you will do great if you are induced just try to be patient and sleep if you can. lol. have you decided if you will have an epidural or not@sierranichols
oh yeah, i went to the er and stayed over night and i didnt sleep. they kept coming in to rearrange the monitors on the baby. @smiles2
yea, it's just tiring and a long process of waiting if you don't progress right away like me. lol. it's hard to get any sleep in the dang hospital while being hooked up to everything and the docs coming in to check you every 2 hrs or so. @sierranichols
I was induced with my first boy at 41 weeks. it wasn't bad but just not getting any sleep the night I went in to be induced and didn't sleep at all the next day, that's what was hard. lol. they had to give me a pill they put up in me next to my cervix to dialate me and it made me crap alittle , felt like a punch type crap, and I couldn't get comfortable. the first pull didn't do much so I had another one the next morning, they started my pitocin in an iv, and I walked alot and bounced on a ball alot. still only dialate to a 4 or 5, no contractions and they had my pitocin almost as high as they could give me. the doc came in later that day and broke my water and everything went so fast after that I was dialate to a 10 in a few hrs, contractions started a few hrs after my water broke, I pushed for 1 1/2 hrs. it was more exhausting than anything. I did have an epidural though about 4cm dialated.
ive been dilated to 2-3cm since i was 24 weeks. i wonder if she will strip them this tuesday. i was in pain all day yesterday to the point of crying. i know he needs to bake longer and if i could handle the pain id say let him. this is my first and i am so small that everything hurts. i wake up every hour at night in order to try and get comfortable.
I was induced with my first and I was in labor 8 hours and it wasn't bad I didn't even get the epidural all they do is give you medicine through an Iv
@sierranichols, they didn't for me, if your not dilated at all they might
so they just give you an iv with medicine and such, they don't strip your membranes? @briannaklaw
i was induced a few weeks ago. they just give you medicine through an iv called pitocin and it starts contractions and helps you dilate more. Usually when your induced labor is a lot longer and contractions are stronger then normal. I was in labor for 14 hours. They have to monitor you too a lot more then they typically would.
I'm having this problem. I have GD so inducing is on the list and possible c section so I've been trying to go into labor on my own. I heard induction is harder than normal
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
