My son is due in 9 days and now because of irresponsible adults, my house is no longer perfectly ready to go. We decided to host a cookout at our place for Memorial day weekend and because my MIL is in town. What ended up happening is is started raining and got chilly at the park across from our house so we had to take it inside, someone flooded my upstairs guest bathroom and they ended up using every single towel in my closet and even a large blanket to clean it up- then they threw it in my tub. Next, that flooding caused a leak in my ceiling light fixture in my dining room (which is hazardous) and I had to turn off the breaker to prevent fire and damage, THEN (yes it keeps going) my MIL got so drunk she couldn't even stand and was flirting with my husband's friend which was funny until they kissed and left together drunk as fuck in his truck. So my husband ended up losing his shit, fighting with both of them when they got back and she ended up projectile vomiting on my carpet and finally passing out in my baby's room.

My husband and I were so stressed out by the end of the night it wasn't even funny.

We have an early morning appt today to see baby and hopefully have my membranes swept but we also have to now deal with his mom and this house.

I'm disappointed to say the least.
