is it still considered real contractions if they don't last more then 20-30 seconds??? I slept thru labor with my first pregnancy so I didn't have to time anything and I've been having contractions now that are about 8-10 min and there not lasting very long I'm 40 weeks and 4 days help!!

i just went through that with my son take a shower and keep turning the heat up a little i did and had contractions that lasted longer and ended up javing him 40 weeks 5 days
