My daughter prefers that I get in with her. She screamed the first couple of times I bathed her cause I just put her in her little tub but after I started bathing with her she loved bath time
Also ALWAYS keep the water running because the noise soothes them! Trust me!
That way when he thinks of water he'll think of that and it'll make him more comfortable with bath time. If you aren't comfortable doing that just put his baby tub in your tub and get in and bathe him like that. Make sure to keep a washcloth on top of him so he doesn't get cold. I also put a heater in the bathroom or turn the shower on to make it steamy and warm for him
Hope it gets better for you! I hated bathing her when she was screaming
I switched tubs to this jacuzzi spa tub. She likes the bubbles and vibration and I make the water barely warm. She still screams if the water is too warm. I also make sure she has a full tummy before I give her a bath now. We discovered she does much better in the tub after feeding her
My son screams too 😔 I'm going to wait until I can get in there with him to see if it helps.
Aubrey did too until recently. She would scream like she was in pain
We use warm water, and we wash him in his own tub @santistevanmommie
Some babies just don't like bath time. Mine hated it at first. She likes it now if she is in her jacuzzi tub with the bubbles on and I hold her the whole time
Maybe he gets cold or really doesn't like the water. Do you get in with him or just wash him in a little bath?
Nothing like that has happened, but my son just screams and screams in the bath. @santistevanmommie do you have any ideas of what it could be?
It's possible but not unless something really traumatic has happened with water. My daughters tried grabbing toys in the tub and leaned too far forward and put her face in the water. scared her but she's alright
Oh my gosh, that's crazy! Nothing like that has happened to my son, I just feel like we need to bathe him more. @diller464
Recently I noticed that my daughter would gasp and cry everytime I pour water on her head when I bathed her. Only a few drops would get on her face. Yesterday, my aunt told me when she was babysitting she gave her a bath and my 5 month old slipped underwater. She had her for the weekend a couple weeks ago. I really hope she won't be weird about water when she's older.
All those tips I just told you! @henrysmommy
