Okay ladies! gotta question? do you have to dialated for your water to break or it just breaks when ever it's time?

They broke my water before the epidural last time. Doesn't hurt.

No because by the time they break it you're already numbed from the epidural so you wont feel a thing @lovemj

Nope I have 4 kids and my water only broke with my last child each other time the doctor had to break it

I was 1cm for two weeks. My water broke and when I got to the hospital I was still 1cm.
