it's a little to soon for my comfort but the 4th is also a big holiday in my family. I just don't think I want people all over her! @zachattackmomma

I generally don't take them out their first week... After the first week it's usually only to church or my moms until their at least 3-4 weeks old...

its completely up to you. if you want to take the baby out then do so but just tell people don't touch the baby don't get to close to the baby that's what we did and everyone respected it. you just have to make it known

I kept my son inside for a month but that's just my preference and it was last April when it was chilly.

my oldest boy was born 4 days before Thanksgiving I took him to thanksgiving dinner with me but we didn't stay long and I didn't let everyone b all over him either but I wanted my family to b able to c him especially my grandma who couldn't make it to the hospital

With my son he was out of the house within three days it was around Christmas and we had things to do places to go and people to see.

I'm due in August 15th and my family is having a woman's weekend the end of August. It's only my mom, my two aunts and two cousins going and we are renting a house. I was planning on taking my daughter with because she will be so new. Ultimately it depends on how I feel physically, if I'm healed enough. I personally can't stay in the house weeks on end. I'm not too concerned about taking her with, if I feel uncomfortable I'll just stay in the rented house while everyone else goes shopping and stuff.
