I ended up using lotion around 2 weeks her poor skin was so dry

I used it when we came home from the hospital. No issues here. Just keep an eye on your baby if you do use it. Some babies are more sensitive than others.

the hospital i was at used johnson's baby wash for his bath . . he broke out from the lotions though . its all perfume in it 😑 . i switched to Aveeno .

I LOVE Johnson's I've always used them 20 years and counting and will use it on Brin

aveeno is a life saver for real..but every baby is different ..not even a nurse can tell you what's best for your baby's skin..only you will know..Johnsons have a lot of perfume in it so that's probably why they said that but some baby's can tolerate it and some can't you know..I love their night time lotion lol smells sooo amazing

We have gone back and forth between aveeno and Johnson and Johnson aveeno we use during the day if he has a bath and the other at night you can use coconut oil too if you want a natural way

You shouldn't use lotion on a newborn. I didn't use lotion on my baby until she was 1-2 months. Goodluck!

We started using johnsons lotion right away. We live in az and her little body needed the moisture. I like both johnsons and aveeno ^_^

my sister and mom used it like the day they came home and nothing happened. it's probably even better. because it's starting to get hot outside (I'm in az) and your babies body needs moisture too. j&j is a super trusted brand and has been being used for over 50 years. it's perfectly fine to use. if you notice anything like rashes just stop using it and wait. or you could even buy non scent no. perfume lotion you'd use on new tattoos and I'm sure that would be fine to use on baby as well

if you do use it, use the purple bottle, it's lavender and it has a calming in it and it works so well!

My mom used the lotion and bath stuff for on all four of her kid, including me. Me and my sister never stopped using the lotion and bubble bath still to this day. and I plan to use it on my little guy. we have sensitive skin and it's one of the few things that doesn't irritate us.
