i didn't get to breastfeed my first baby cause I was on a steroid and antibiotics for bronchitis but I really wanna breastfeed for the bond and experience but I wanna be able to include my hubby and two year old in on things like feeding too. i have fairly decent sized nipples @babykam but I been reading about ppl that are breastfeeding and they nipples cracking and bleeding.
People say giving birth hurts, doesn't stop us from having babies. cracked nipples and pain is caused by improper latch. If you get the help and support you need, you will be fine. Your husband can bond with the baby in other ways. Food isn't the only thing that equals love.
cracking and bleeding happens when the baby isn't properly latched also you need to let your nipples air dry, I use coconut oil and rub a little bit on my nipples after every feeding after they finish air drying and I haven't had a problem yet @callycat
It depends on your body and your pain tolerance really. I didn't think it was near as bad as everyone said it would be. Just use your nipple cream like your supposed to because it really does help so much. After the first week and a half of it, it started to not be super uncomfortable. It's worth it though.
Hurts maybe for the first day and I wouldnt even say that it hurts its just a new experience. If it does hurt you need to talk to a lactation consultant. If it hurts then something is wrong.

u can also pump so your husband and other baby can bottle feed the baby
